Published by the figurine company Precious Moments, the book’s characters feature the brand’s signature teardrop-shaped eyes. The rhyming story, which traces a day of activities with family, echoes the founder’s inspiration of “faith, family, and friends.” While not explicitly religious, the story follows the Precious Moments’ Christian roots with an oblique reference to the birth of Jesus.
VERDICT Skip purchasing this book, as there are better reads for Christmas on the market.
