PowerPoint is robust and Google Presentations is very sweet for collaboration, but some of us simply crave beautiful new design options for our presentations and publications.
Here are four worthy options, and another one about to be born.
Canva allows its users to create beautiful slides, posters, Pinterest covers and headers for Facebook and Twitter pages. In addition beautiful font options and color choices and a library of free images, including images perfect for infographic building, and photo filters, and a HUGE searchable library of high quality images available for just a dollar each. You’ll be tempted to use Canva for its images alone.
LucidPress is a full-featured suite of publishing options Templates facilitate the creation of brochures, flyers, posters, brochures, newsletters, magazines, reports, and pamphlets to print or share digitally. It works easily across platforms and devices and allows real-time collaboration via Google Drive, shared editing privileges, chat around documents and a variety of printing and digital publishing options. Users may choose to design documents from scratch, import existing documents, and work in four editing modes: Layout, Interactivity, Comment and Preview. Videos or GIF images may be embedded. LucidPress offers its users a wide variety of tutorials, case studies and design tips.
Currently in Beta, emaze offers simple but beautiful templated design options, as well as the opportunity to import your PowerPoint slides and share slides your with the emaze community. The cloud-based tool makes it easy for the nonprofessional presenter to impress using a relatively, limited but beautiful menu of tools. It also provides a translation feature and multi-device access.
