Each spread features information on how each animal uses its natural surroundings and coloring to avoid being eaten by predators. Text boxes identify specific parts of each animal that help provide camouflage. A table of contents, a glossary, and an index are included. An experiment at the end of the text encourages readers to try to figure out what kind of camouflage works best in their home garden.
