Ritchie depicts Little Witch’s world in quirky swirls of fluid color and her adorable, curly locks always appear to be in motion. This is a sweet, witchy narrative, alongside messages about friendship, resilience, and following one’s own unique path. Nevertheless, this title fails to provide a unique perspective on these topics and treads familiar territory previously well covered in picture books.
