The teen is also investigating the mysterious experiments taking place at Willowgrove. The dark and bloody werewolf series comes to an end in this conclusion to the trilogy.
Despite escaping from a "rehabilitation" camp, werewolves are still not safe; human Mac, her lycanthrope boyfriend, and other werewolf allies are on the lam. Meanwhile, a spreading infection fosters paranoia, anti-werewolf Trackers stage a rally, and Mac suspects secret experiments on wolves occurring at Willowgrove. The narrative is unwieldy at times and culminates brutally, but this trilogy-ending page-turner is gripping.
