Lyrical text paints vivid scenes: “Her lunchroom is the colorful garden. Zip, sip. Zip, sip.” The stunning artwork truly brings the story to life, but the narrative itself may feel a bit abstract or confusing for younger readers. While the illustrations are captivating, the storyline might not fully connect with the target audience.
VERDICT This title is best as a supplemental addition to collections.
