We Are All Scientists/Todos somos científicos

PreS-K–This lovely board book shows young children that if they are curious, ask questions, and love to explore, they are scientists! An introductory spread shares the importance of curiosity in science and is followed by several spreads exploring the different types of scientists and some of the things that they do. Physicists study gravity. Biologists are interested in all living things. Meteorologists study storms. A final spread encourages readers to see themselves as scientists if they often find themselves wondering: Why? Each spread contains a sentence in English and its Spanish translation, providing short but informative details about each type of scientist. Colorful and creative corresponding illustrations show a cast of diverse characters enjoying activities, such as baking, observing the planets, exploring nature, and studying rocks—things young readers may already enjoy in their everyday lives.
