But when he asks for her help with an important scholarship project, Nikki has to decide which is more important, stardom or her friends. Narrator Jenni Barber uses the perfect mix of OMGs and SQUEEEEs to bring Nikki and her BFFs to life. Although the narration is spot-on, readers may still wish to follow along with the book so they don't miss out on Nikki's expressive diary illustrations.
