A tale of Alzheimer’s couched in the oeuvre of elephants, known for their memory, this will resonate with readers who have a beloved figure in their life who doesn’t remember like they used to, and also serves as a sweet reminder of the ways we can hold onto those memories together. The illustration style is subdued and full of yearning, reminiscent of Philip C. Stead’s art and Shute’s other work.
