My First Space Words in English and Spanish

Toddler-PreS–The littlest readers will be able to dive in and learn first words related to space in this English and Spanish board book. Each spread is dedicated to similar words, provided in both languages, with an accompanying illustration. Blue and purple hues illuminate the words in the spreads focusing on outer space while bright and cheerful illustrations show equipment and the people and places that play important roles in space exploration. Readers will also learn the different phases of a mission, from the start at launch/lanzamiento to the end at landing/aterrizaje. Text is clear and easy to read, with the terms in English shown in a different color than the Spanish for easy identification. The different terms covered are sure to spark additional conversation, such as the Animal Astronauts section, which features incredible animals who have made the journey to space.
