PreS–Although the images are mouth-watering to pore over, any true doughnut-loving kid is going to want the real thing, rather than a doughnut-shaped guessing game. For every doughnut topping pictured on the right, readers are asked to guess the flavor revealed on the page turn. Some are obvious, others not.

VERDICT Unless this is useful for point and name story hours, this is not nearly as satisfying as the sweet treats it depicts; get thee to a bakery, and don’t forget the kids!
