No matter what they do, they have fun because they’re together. This text is truly a bilingual story that juxtaposes the perspectives of these two friends in English and in Spanish. The cheerful illustrations are eye-catching. A great choice for read-alouds or one-on-one. Emerging readers can use visual cues to independently read.
VERDICT Purchase for all bilingual and Spanish-language shelves, especially where friendship stories and previous entries about José and Joe are popular.
