Hoppy Easter, Honey Bunny!

PreS–This board book introduces the Easter Bunny. The first line is similar to that of the popular children’s song “Here Comes Peter Cottontail,” so this title will have a familiar feel to many adults. Here, there is a different main character. The story opens saying, “Here comes Honey Bunny with its fluffy tail.” Honey Bunny hops down the bunny trail with an Easter basket, collecting decorated eggs throughout the story. While the name of the main character is different from the song, the rest of the words are the same. Illustrations show a white bunny with pink ears and a pink heart shaped nose. A soft pink bunny tail (made of all polyester material and approximately 2-½ by 2-½ inches wide and 1 inch thick) attached to the right side of the book could be an issue with cleaning when circulated to the general public. Text is short and compliments the illustrations in Easter colors of greens, whites, pinks, blues, and purples. The book concludes saying, “Easter’s on its way!”
