On the first day of Christmas, Veranda Santa brings her a fruit bat in a mango tree. On the second day, she gets two magpies, three bin chickens on the third, and so on all the way up to 12. Fans of the show will be delighted reading a story of their favorite animated dog. Bright colors not limited to the traditional Christmas green and red, but including oranges, yellows, and purples, stand out on each page. Bluey characters appearing as some of the 12 Christmas items is very comedic, childlike, and lovable.
VERDICT Great for any children’s collection, especially in sections dedicated to books based on television shows.
