THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!! Our son loves it, and my wife read it to her elementary school last year, and it was a favorite among the whole school. It's so great!

Marlene Dietrich in a tux.Exactly why this book is needed. Go, Vicki, gooooo!!!

Have these people never heard of Marlene Dietrich, who famously wore a tuxedo for much of her stage work?

One of my several personal reading programs for the last two years has been to read the newer banned/challenged books (I read the older ones long ago), relying on my public library (which has 49 of the "top 50" titles in their circulating collection). I just looked up "Molly's Tuxedo" in the online catalogue, and found that our county's branch libraries collectively have 24 copies!

I'm a retired tailor. I've tailored menswear for women. Can be tricky. They were so grateful and kind. And looked marvelous!

I can’t wear clothes with tags. Certain fabrics are a no-go. When I read this, I identified not with a young girl who wanted to wear boys’ clothes, but with a person who needs total comfort. And pockets.
Corinne Altham

Molly’s story is one every child deserves.

I'm getting this book for our kids. My son LOVES wearing dresses and does to school one day followed by a suit the next. If anyone tells him boys don't wear dresses he knows too tell them Jesus did and King Charles does.

Keep telling your story some little person out there wants to wear a tuxedo or a dress to picture day.
Diana Bigelow Hall

I will be purchasing this book to put in the Little Free Library I started in honor of my mother.
Shana Meiselman

I invite you to come to my Spring City Public Library.

I am so so so saddened to read this. How absolutely wrong and awful. We need to come together as communities and do more than support. We need to defend and to celebrate. I will most certainly be buying a copy for our elementary school library. Thank you for your creativity and valor!

Abbott Elementary? We have questions

With an update to Andrew Bauld’s June 2024 reporting, which advanced the possibility that “Philadelphia May See the Return of School Librarian Positions,” readers did some dot connecting.

I think every parent, teacher, and lover of books will be thrilled to hear this. I hope that other school boards across Canada and the United States follow suit.

Let’s hope Pittsburgh and all of PA will do the same!
