So many books, so little time. Thirty seconds to be exact.

School Library Journal (SLJ) is crowdsourcing 30-second booktalks, inviting readers to create and submit clips (see the below example) for potential publication on SLJ.com and our social channels, including YouTube.

(Sorry, publishers, this opportunity is for the librarians.)

Booktalks are brief, in this case uber-brief, pitches to “sell” young readers on a given title. The best ones use intriguing details of the plot, setting, and characters, without giving it away—no spoilers, please.
