Long known as “America’s favorite pastime,” baseball has emerged as a popular sport in other countries and international players are also featured. The simplicity of the text makes it appealing to the preschool crowd, but examining the sport through a historic lens will appeal to slightly older readers as well. Remarkably, this title will appeal to non-sports fans just as much as baseball fanatics.
