When the ringleader of a traveling circus offers to make Stitch Head the star of his show, the boy hopes that this opportunity will turn his life around. But letting this stranger into Castle Grotteskew is going to have consequences that Stitch Head never expected. On the outside, this is a cute, silly, and scary story. But underneath that is the broken heart of a little boy who just wants to be appreciated and understood. This tense but charming story will appeal to readers who enjoy themes of identity and found family. This book features a darkly colorful visual style similar to The Nightmare Before Christmas, and it is populated with plenty of amazing monsters.
