Pages have a top and bottom colorful border that matches the monogram at the beginning of the text. Both of these additions give each page a delicate and important feeling. The illustrations are vivid and full of realism. The reference section contains a historical account of the people of Israel. It includes maps, time lines, charts, and a list of biblical figures.
