Gr 3–5—Catchy sportswriting reels readers into this series detailing the biggest game in America: the Super Bowl. Whether kids want to focus on the quarterbacks who make huge plays or learn about the sport in general, there's plenty to study. Sidebars and bulleted lists make it easy for browsers to gain information. There is some overlap between the books; David Tyree's jaw-dropping "Helmet Catch" is featured in more than a few of the titles, but, overall the information is fresh. Some of the most exciting moments are in Biggest Super Bowl Upsets, which includes Joe Namath's Jets win over the favored Colts in Super Bowl III. With a new story on each two-page spread, non-linear reading is acceptable. Each book includes a QR code that links to an ebook copy of the title, which offers live content, lengthening the shelf life of the series.
