King y Kayla y el caso del diente perdido

King and Kayla check the car and ask their friend Mason, but no luck, so King must use his sense of smell to solve the mystery. Short chapters, fun illustrations, and King’s sense of humor make this a wonderful choice for emerging readers looking for an amusing mystery series. The Spanish text excellently conveys the humor and King’s thoughts, and the thoughtful and careful way Kayla stops to consider the mystery shows some of the great characteristics of a detective. Characters are kind, helpful, and diverse, with Kayla and her family having dark skin and their friend Mason having lighter skin.
