Outstanding in all ways, this title deserves a place in most collections and adds a wonderful opportunity for upper elementary students (and higher!) to unpack our complicated histories.
An optional purchase. The book, while provocative, lacks the substance and scientific detail needed for older children but would be difficult conceptually for younger children.
Illustrations and poetic text work together to show the changes to the St. Anthony Falls. Good for research on the local history of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
A solid additional purchase for librarians seeking books about teens struggling to grow up in suburbia or to decide which path to take after high school.
